Govan Home and Education Link Project (Govan HELP) is a family education support charity based in Govan, Glasgow.
Our Chief Officer is leaving Govan HELP after nearly 14 years and we seek an experienced senior manager who can provide confident and inspirational leadership to our innovative charity, and which is in keeping with our mission and values.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the strategic development and operational delivery of Govan HELP’s diverse range of services, and will motivate and lead a highly skilled multi-disciplinary staff team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Management Board of Trustees and work with our Treasurer to manage a complex portfolio of grant funds and donations. Experience in securing grant funding, contracts and donations is essential, as is financial management.
He/she will also work with the management board, staff, service users and other stakeholders to lead our strategic plan for 2019 – 2022, as well as policies and practices that promote best practice.
He/she will be responsible for engaging at all levels across the organisation, but will also be comfortable in a hands-on capacity, leading large and complex programmes of change.

This post is funded by Glasgow City Council IGF and funding until at least March 2020 has been approved in principle and we await confirmation.
