Personal Development Course

Elevate Glasgow offers a personal development course which will starts week commencing 18th February and will run for 6 weeks.

Personal development is a lifelong process. It helps to identify skills and qualities, consider aims in life and set goals to realise and maximise potential enhancing employability prospects, raising confidence. It can also contribute to achieving dreams and aspirations.

Many employers are looking for the same sorts of skills.

These include good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and the ability to learn these are often termed ‘Soft Skills’.

Focusing on early stages of recovery, programmes utilise structured and coordinated activities to improve self-esteem, health and well-being, family relationships, reducing social isolation and increasing social engagement to improve readiness to access training and education.

There will also be offered practical programmes around job coaching, work preparation, CV development and interview skills.

Please come along to the Taster Session for a pizza lunch and a chance to have a chat with the Elevate Team about this course. The Taster Session will be held on Tuesday 5th February 2019, from 2pm to 4pm at Move On, 24 St Enoch Square, Glasgow G1 4AA.
