Established in 1996 Govan Home and Education Link Project (formerly Hill's Trust Home School Community Project) is a family education support project. Also known as Govan HELP, the project aims to improve the educational attainment and life skills of children and their families.
Govan HELP offers a "menu" of integrated early intervention services to support the child, his/her family and their holistic needs. Govan HELP offers it services to pupils and their families from 3 primary schools (Pirie Park, Riverside & St Saviours) and 2 nurseries (Broomloan & Govan Family Learning Centre). We are also, in the very early stages, of beginning to offer our services to families from St Constantines Primary School.

Thanks to new and increased funding from the Big Lottery, Children In Need and Bank of Scotland Foundation, Govan HELP has been through a significant expansion. We have increased our staff team, have expanded our existing services and are developing new services.
Govan HELP is overseen by a Management Board of parents/carers, education staff & community members, who meet monthly to review the work of the project and offer guidance and support in its development.
