Our Aim

- supporting families before any difficulties deepen & reach crisis
- improving the child’s school & nursery experience
- building resilience, confidence and self-worth in children and adults
- strengthening family relationships
- helping parents to feel more supportive, capable and responsible.
We do this through
- Individual support to vulnerable families
- Individual & group positive parenting programmes
- Supporting family applications for financial support to “Radio Clyde Cash for Kids”, referrals to local Foodbank and School Uniform Bank
- Children's Therapeutic Services - Individual Play Therapy, “friendship” groups & Theraplay for parent and child together (specifically to repair difficult parent/child attachment)
- Children’s Befriending Service
- Adult counselling
- Parents Volunteer Programme
- Adult trainings (ESOL, first aid, sewing, computer classes)
- Signposting and referring parents for specific employment/training advice in order to get “job ready”
- Family Holiday Programme & after-school Family Activity Group
